Modeling of Transfusion

The Cell Therapy Core has helped to develop in vivo models to examine the effects of transfusion on the immune system. An ongoing focus is on the effects of pathogen inactivation technology on reducing the immunogenicity of blood products. We have also contributed to the evaluation of human blood products in xenogeneic in vivo models.
